All teams / individuals are guaranteed two games in this double elimination with a come around for gold tournament.
* 4 teams minimum for per bracket – if less, SPT will combine with other brackets based on age and skill level
* Main Draw: Matches consist of a best of 3 game format with each game to 11, win by 2 points.
* Consolation: Each match consists of one game to 15, win by two points except for the bronze medal match which will consist of the best of 3 games format.
Two 60 seconds timeouts per game and player/team.
Please note that this is a non-sanctioned tournament.
Seeding for all Senior Pro brackets will use 50% SPT Ranking and 50% Dupr rating.
All other brackets will be open draw until a Senior amateur ranking has been established for all players for future SPT Tournaments.
Registration opens on 12/20/2023 on the Raqt app.
If a player does not have the Raqt app – please follow steps below:
A valid account on Raqt is required to register for the tournament. Registration closes on Feb 4th 11.59 pm.
Players may only play in one event per day.
Brackets will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
You may register for each event you wish to play.
Follow the below instructions to register for an event:
Singles
Your name will be displayed and just select the checkbox on the left of your name.
Doubles
Your name will be displayed and just select the checkbox on the left of your name.
After payment in doubles you'll need to select your partner.
NOTE: Your partner must also register before you can select a partner.
Players and partners must have payment confirmed for in order to play in the event.
Waiver must be completed and signed when registering for the tournament.

A player that loses a partner due to illness or injury may replace his/her partner until 72 hours before the tournament starts. A full tournament schedule including complete brackets, exact starting time, and court # will be completed 72 hours before the start of the first event of the tournament. No changes may be allowed once the schedule is released. A substitute player must be eligible to play in the same skill bracket. Players may play down in age or up in skill. Partner substitutions must be communicated to registration at least 72 hours before the first starting event of the tournament.
During the time of open registration, players may handle substituting of partners on the Raqt app. See below steps how to do this:

The tournament is played in an outdoor environment that is subject to potential weather conditions that can interrupt play. If a weather event occurs mid bracket, every attempt will be made to resume the bracket to completion and determine winners. The event has the right to shorten match play if weather causes scheduling delays.
If a bracket has not started and will not be able to be played due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of a player’s event fee will be returned. Registration fee will not be refunded.
Official competition ball is Durafast 40 - Yellow.
After the match, the used ball is returned to the referee or the tournament desk
Referees will be utilized for Pro matches and amateur prize money events.
Amateur medal matches will have a referee.
First Aid kit will be available at the tournament site. If a life-threatening emergency occurs, please call 911. Athletic trainer or Dr will be on site.
