NYIC is an invitational tournament where the organizer, EventCentra invites the players they want to play, thus it is not possible to register on your own.

We gather and give information on Friday at 11.30

Saturday: After game buffet: Pizza SEK 100, Beer and wine at cost price.

Singles Friday: 11:30 - ca 19:00

Doubles Saturday: 08:30 - ca 19:00

Mixed Sunday: 08:30 - ca 18:00

Payments

You will pay the registration fee on-site with cash or card.

Singles: SEK 400 / start

Doubles/Mixed: SEK 600 / start (SEK 300/person)

Double Elimination

All classes play double elimination format.

Singles

All matches are played to 11p best of 3 games. Win by 2 points.

Doubles

All matches are played to 11p best of 3 games. Win by 2 points.

Mixed

All matches are played to 7p best of 3 games. Win by 2 points. (Medal matches best of 3 to 11p)

Timeouts

One timeout per game per player/team is allowed.

The tournament must be imbued with FAIR PLAY and a good atmosphere. Our goal is that everyone who participated should feel that they were involved and above all had fun!

The participants themselves will be responsible for fair play in connection with the matches.

Each player/pair is responsible for judging their half of the court according to FAIR PLAY. If you are in any way unsure or in doubt as to whether the ball in your own half of the court is in or out, you must rule in favor of your opponent.

If you experience during a match that FAIR PLAY is not being used by your opponent, you must call on the Competition Management, who can decide that the match is played with referees.
