Train:

Rota has no train station, being Jerez de la Frontera and El Puerto de Santa Maria the nearest stations. Both stations are intermediate points on the Sevilla-Jerez line. Find out below how to get to Rota by train.

If you are coming from Seville, you must buy a ticket to Jerez de la Frontera at the Santa Justa train station. You can choose between the RENFE medium distance service (travel time 1h 5min) and the ALVIA service (travel time 55 minutes) which is about 5 euros more expensive. From there you will have to continue your journey by another means (car or bus).

Buses from Seville:

If you wish to travel from Seville to Rota by bus, you must take one of the many COMES buses that run daily on this line. The bus station from where they leave for Seville is the Prado station in San Sebastian. The trip takes 2 hours, with an intermediate stop in Jerez. The approximate price of the Seville-Rota bus trip is 12 euros.

Buses from Jerez:

In this case, in addition to the Sevilla-Jerez-Rota line, you can take any of the buses of the Jerez-Rota line, operated by the COMES company.

Route M-905 (Sevilla-Jerez-Rota): the journey time from Jerez to Roma is 30 minutes.

Road M-560 (Jerez-Rota): travel time 45 minutes.

Line M-561 (Jerez-Sanlúcar-Chipiona-Costa Ballena): This bus does not stop in the center of Rota. You should only take it if your destination is Costa Ballena. The travel time is 30 minutes.

If you arrive from Seville (capital) we recommend the following 3 routes:

Quiet and fast route with little traffic. This route runs along the AP-4 freeway (Seville-Cadiz)

Sevilla

- Jerez de la Frontera – Rota

(A-4, 121 kms, 1 h 25 min. approx., toll Sevilla - Jerez de la Frontera):

Route with possible slow traffic when exiting the highway at Jerez de la Frontera, as well as on the A-2078 regional road during weekends and summer. This route runs along the AP-4 freeway (Seville-Cádiz).

Seville

- Jerez de la Frontera – Rota

(N-IV, 129 kms., 1 h 41 min. approx.):

Route with slow traffic as it passes through the towns of Dos Hermanas, El Cuervo and Jerez de la Frontera, as well as along the entire route during weekends and summer.

If arriving from Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) we recommend taking the regional road A-2078 (30 kms., 33 min. approx.). Please note that there will be possible slow traffic during weekends and summer.

If you are arriving from El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz) we recommend the new regional road A-491 (21 kms., 20 min. approx.). Please note that there will be possible slow traffic during weekends and summer.

🇬🇧 The Masters Reballution Cup is the event that will kick off one of the most important tournaments of the year featuring the best players of the moment.

This tournament is meant to be headed by the top-level players who will represent a pickleball brand or company or players who are willing to create a team without having a company/ brand.

Each brand or company will choose a “franchise player” (representative) possibly from their own brand who will be the captain the team.

Each team must go with the same clothing, each brand or company will be responsible for supplying it to the team or the captain will be in charge of managing it.

Tournament format: Maximum 8 teams.

Starting time: Thursday May 30 at 15.00.

Group stage: Group A (Team 1, 2, 3 and 4) and Group B (Team 5, 6, 7 and 8)

Final phase: Semifinals (1.st Group A vs 2.nd Group B) (1.st Group B vs 2.nd Group A)

FINAL: winners of both semifinals.

Format of each match (5 games):

Each game to 11 points with a difference of 2 points (exchange at 6 points) except the FINAL that will be played to a game of 15 points with a difference of 2 points (exchange at 8 points)

1. Men's singles and women's singles (2 matches)

2. Men's doubles and women's doubles (2 matches)

3. Mixed Doubles (1 match)

• Each player may play a maximum of 2 games per match.

After the group stage, the following will be taken into account:

1. Number of matches won.

2. In the event of a tie, the difference of all the games won and lost will be considered (Examples: 5-0, 4-1, 2-3….)

3. In case of a tie to all of the above, the difference of all the points won and lost will be looked at (Example: 11-13, 11-8, 3-11….)

Competition Committee:

1. The committee will be in charge of solving any doubts that arise during the tournament.

2. It will be in charge of collecting the templates with the players who will play each match beforehand at the start of each match. Once the templates of both teams are received, the matches will be established to avoid any type of manipulation.

Player conditions:

1. Be registered in some of the 5.0 categories to play the REBALLUTION CUP before April 21.

2. Be available to start the tournament on Thursday, May 30 at 15.00 a.m.

Prizes: 2000€

GOLD (1600€, 400€ per player)

SILVER (400€, 100€ per player)

🇪🇸 Masters Reballution Cup será un evento que dará el pistoletazo de salida a uno de los torneos más importantes del año y que contará con los mejores jugadores del momento.

Será un torneo formado por jugadores del máximo nivel que representaran a alguna marca de pickleball o empresa o equipos formados por jugadores que se inscriban sin pertenecer a equipo o empresa.

Cada marca o empresa elegirá personalmente a un jugador franquicia (posiblemente de su propia marca) y este será el capitán de dicho equipo.

Cada equipo deberá ir con las misma indumentaria, cada marca será la responsable de suministrarla al equipo o el capitán será el encargado de gestionarlo.

Formato del torneo: Máximo 8 equipos.

Hora de inicio: jueves 30 de mayo a las 15.00

Fase de grupos:

GRUPO A (Equipos 1, 2, 3 y 4) y GRUPO B (Equipos 5, 6, 7 y 8)

Semifinales: Semifinal 1 (1° Grupo A vs 2° Grupo B) y Semifinal 2 (1° Grupo B vs 2° Grupo A)

Final: Ganadores de ambas semifinales.

Formato se cada enfrentamiento (5 partidos):

Cada partido a 11 puntos con diferencia de 2 puntos (intercambio a los 6 puntos) excepto la FINAL que se jugará cada partido a 15 puntos con diferencia de 2 puntos (intercambio a los 8 puntos)

- Individual masculino e individual femenino (2 partidos)

- Dobles masculino y dobles femenino (2 partidos)

- Dobles mixtos (1 partido)

*El partido de dobles mixtos siempre será jugado aunque el equipo haya ganado en las dos primeras rotaciones (esto se detalla por la final).

Cada jugador podrá jugar un máximo de 2 partidos por jornada.

Tras la fase de grupos se tendrá en cuenta:

1. Número de enfrentamientos ganados.

2. En caso de empate a enfrentamientos, se mirará la diferencia de todos los juegos ganados y perdidos (Ejemplos: 5-0, 4-1, 2-3….)

3. En caso de empate a todo lo anterior, se mirará la diferencia de todos los puntos ganados y perdidos (Ejemplo: 11-13, 11-8, 3-11….)

Comité de competición:

1. Será el encargado de solventar cualquier duda que se plantee durante el desarrollo del torneo.

2. Será el encargado de recoger previamente al inicio de cada enfrentamiento la plantilla con los jugadores que disputarán cada partido. Recibida las plantillas de ambos equipos se establecerán los partidos para evitar cualquier tipo de manipulación.

Condiciones de los jugadores:

1. Estar inscrito en algunas de las categorías 5.0 para jugar la REBALLUTION CUP antes del 21 de abril de 2024.

2. Estar disponible para iniciar el torneo el jueves 30 de mayo a la hora determinada (15.00).

Premios:

1 CLASIFICADO (1600€, 400€ por jugador)

2 CLASIFICADO (400€, 100 por jugador)
