1. WHAT IS THE REBALLUTION CUP?
It will be an exciting and challenging event, made for those who love playing pickleball outdoors and enjoying the good weather and the beaches.
Hotel Playa de la Luz 4* (Player's hotel) will be the first hotel with exclusive pickleball outdoors in Spain.
Reballution Cup is open to all players from around the world.
REBALLUTION CUP 2023 includes 19+, 50+, 60+, OPEN, Advanced and Intermediate divisions over the course of the 4-day Championship; and JUNIORS (U12, U14, U16)

3. DATES
Registration: 8 February 2023 – 23 May 2023 or either until the maximum number of inscriptions is completed or the number of players per category.
Notice that no payment will be accepted in cash but has to be transferred to the above mentioned bank account. Registration fees cannot be refunded, except for a justified case of force majeure or if the participant can find a substitute who takes his position. Cases:
From April 1 to May 23, 75% of the registration fee is returned, but we will charge you the return costs if any occur. (-5€ administration)
From the 23th of May, no refunds are done may they be justified or not.
A substitute can be found in order not to lose the inscription fee.

WEDNESDAY, 7th - Practice Day
THURSDAY, 8th- Masters Reballution Cup (it’s an event for teams of 4 players of 5.0 category with a big prize money win for the champion of the tournament)
FRIDAY, 9th - Singles Day
SATURDAY, 10th - Men's & Women's Doubles Day
SUNDAY, 11st - Mixed Doubles Day
7. FORMAT
ADULTS Y JUNIORS: group stage and direct eliminations in all categories.
ADULTS OPEN 19+ 5.0 (Prize money): Womens singles, Womens doubles and mixed doubles: group stage and direct eliminations in all categories.
NEW: DOUBLE ELIMINATION for the categories ADULT OPEN 19+ 5.0 (prize money): Men's singles 19+ 5.0 (Max. 32 players) and men's doubles 19+ 5.0 (max. 32 couples).
9. DETAILS OF THE DOUBLE ELIMINATION MODE (MENS SINGLES 19+ 5.0 AND MENS DOUBLES 19+ 5.0)
- All matches of the upper brackets will be played on the best of 3 sets mode with 11 points an a difference of 2 points.
- All matches of the double elimination round (for those who have already lost a game) will be played on one game of 15 points with a difference of 2, EXCEPT the very first match of the double elimination which will be played on the best of 3 sets of 11 poits with a difference of 2.
- So that all players will be playing at least 2 matches on the best of 3 sets mode.
- That is to say that all players have an option to get to the final through the double elimination mode.
- There will be 8 players/pairs seeded. We will base at the best results at the European Open (february 2023)
- A pure draw performed by representatives of diffent clubs, will be broadcasted life.
*For those who are looking for a partner, you must know that your place can be taken if the category is closed. Your place will be booked once both are singed up.
*The Host reserves the right to alter the groups and/ or stages according to the number of participants. Groups may be merged, in case the number of players needed for a group is not sufficient.
10. REGISTRATION AND PRICES
Open Divisions 19+ 5.0: 60 € for the first event and 40 € for any additional one.
Open 50+, Advanced and Intermediate divisions: 40 € for the first event and 20 € for any additional one.
Juniors: 20 € for the first event and 10 € for any additional one.
*Players can register to a maximum of 3 divisions that would be played on 3 different days.

**IMPORTANT**
Cash prizes only for the category OPEN with minimum of a registerd players competing.
In case we don't reach a minimum of players per category, the prize money will be reduced to 60%.
All the winners at the RebalutionCup wil get the official bag BUT the prize money winners.
12. HOW TO GET THERE?
By plane (International Airports):
- Airport Jerez de la Frontera (XRY) - approx.30min to the venue
- Airport Seville (SVQ) - approx. 1.20h to the venue
- Airport Gibraltar (GIB) - approx. 1.30h to the venue
- Airport Malaga (AGP) – approx. 3h to he venue
Train:
Rota has no train station, being Jerez de la Frontera and El Puerto de Santa Maria the nearest stations. Both stations are intermediate points on the Sevilla-Jerez line. Find out below how to get to Rota by train.
If you are coming from Seville, you must buy a ticket to Jerez de la Frontera at the Santa Justa train station. You can choose between the RENFE medium distance service (travel time 1h 5min) and the ALVIA service (travel time 55 minutes) which is about 5 euros more expensive. From there you will have to continue your journey by another means (car or bus).

Buses from Seville:
If you wish to travel from Seville to Rota by bus, you must take one of the many COMES buses that run daily on this line. The bus station from where they leave for Seville is the Prado station in San Sebastian. The trip takes 2 hours, with an intermediate stop in Jerez. The approximate price of the Seville-Rota bus trip is 11 euros.
Buses from Jerez:
In this case, in addition to the Sevilla-Jerez-Rota line, you can take any of the buses of the Jerez-Rota line, operated by the COMES company.
Route M-905 (Sevilla-Jerez-Rota): the journey time from Jerez to Roma is 30 minutes.
Road M-560 (Jerez-Rota): travel time 45 minutes.
Line M-561 (Jerez-Sanlúcar-Chipiona-Costa Ballena): This bus does not stop in the center of Rota. You should only take it if your destination is Costa Ballena. The travel time is 30 minutes.
The fare between Jerez and Rota is 1.90 euros for a single ticket and 1.32 euros if you pay with the card of the Consorcio de Transportes de la Bahía de Cádiz.

Car:
If you arrive from Seville (capital) we recommend the following 3 routes:
Seville - Las Cabezas de San Juan - Sanlúcar de Barrameda - Rota.
(AP-4, 121 kms., 1 h 28 min. approx., toll Sevilla - Las Cabezas):
Quiet and fast route with little traffic. This route runs along the AP-4 freeway (Seville - Cadiz), where tolls are compulsory, but will be abolished from 31.12.2019.
Sevilla - Jerez de la Frontera – Rota
(A-4, 121 kms, 1 h 25 min. approx., toll Sevilla - Jerez de la Frontera):
Route with possible slow traffic when exiting the highway at Jerez de la Frontera, as well as on the A-2078 regional road during weekends and summer. This route runs along the AP-4 freeway (Seville-Cádiz), with tolls being compulsory, but which will be abolished as of 31.12.2019.
Seville - Jerez de la Frontera – Rota
(N-IV, 129 kms., 1 h 41 min. approx.):
Route with slow traffic as it passes through the towns of Dos Hermanas, El Cuervo and Jerez de la Frontera, as well as along the entire route during weekends and summer.
If arriving from Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) we recommend taking the regional road A-2078 (30 kms., 33 min. approx.). Please note that there will be possible slow traffic during weekends and summer.
If you are arriving from El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz) we recommend the new regional road A-491 (21 kms., 20 min. approx.). Please note that there will be possible slow traffic during weekends and summer.
